As a Family SkillBuilders’ Board Member, Smack is responsible for fiscal oversight, providing strategic direction and governance, donor outreach, and tasks as requested by the Executive Director.

Smack Louis is a nationally recognized voice actor and on-camera performer whose credits include campaigns for Walgreens, Red Lobster, Taco Bell, and promo work for The NFL Today on CBS, along with acting roles on The Chi, Chicago P.D., Beyond the Gates, and numerous commercial projects. Outside of his creative work, he’s an avid reader, dedicated foodie, and builder of ideas.

He joined the Family SkillBuilders board because he understands firsthand how transformative early support can be. Many young people—including peers from his own upbringing—could have benefited from the services the organization provides, and he’s committed to helping make those resources more accessible to families who need them most.
