As a Safe Visitation & Exchange Facilitator, Steven supports families impacted by domestic violence, and helps provide a safe, secure, and inviting environment for parents who are unable to have unsupervised contact with their children, while maintaining a survivor and child led focus.

Steven got into this line of work out of a genuine passion for working with families. His favorite part of the job is connecting with families from Oregon’s many different backgrounds and communities.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has eight years of experience in social services. Looking back on his career, he particularly enjoyed his time delivering newspapers in college — a job that taught him the value of dependability and connecting with community, one doorstep at a time.

Outside of work, Steven loves biking around Portland.
